2006 Chardonnay Central Coast
Produced entirely from grapes grown in the Uvas Valley west of Morgan Hill and Gilroy influenced by the cyclical marine layer, this wine is crisp and fresh with a slight hint of fruit and butter. Temperature controlled stainless steel fermentation helps preserve the bright fruit flavor and fresh aroma. Suggested with salads, shellfish, light flaky fish and light cheeses.
2006 Sauvignon Blanc Central Coast
Crisp, bright fruity nose with just a touch of grassy hints and no oak. The clean flavors of pears and apricots fill your mouth with the first taste, then ends with a lemon-citurs finish. Try this wine with lemon-chicken, crab cakes or asian foods.
2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Central Coast
The grapes used to produce this wine are from a vineyard in the Uvas Valley shaded from the late afternoon sun by the Coast Range Mountains. This is a no-nonsense Cabernet that drinks well. Lush with fruit flavors and a hint of earthiness, it exhibits just the right amount of oak barrel conditioning to compliment it’s soft edges. Excellent with a grilled steak, tri-tip or barbequed prime rib roast.
2005 Merlot Central Coast
An offering that is smooth and polished, this wine is blended under the watchful eye of two well-known winemakers, using just a hint of the Syrah grape from the Uvas Valley & Cabernet Franc grape from San Benito County. Displaying a distinct nose of berries and fruit, this wine pairs well with a wide variety of foods. Try it with Salmon, pork, veal, beef or with your favorite pasta dish.
2002 Zinfandel Central Coast
“BIG” and Bold, this wine was found languishing and forgotten in a dark corner of a local winemaker’s cellar. Made with Monterey grapes, this limited release was aged for over three years in American oak, and then carefully blended with a small amount of 2002 Pinot Noir to slightly soften the edges. Use it to accompany hearty and spicy dishes, a great pepperoni pizza or calzone, or your favorite wild game.
2005 Syrah Central Coast
Complex, full bodied wine with grapes solely sourced from the Uvas Valley, with bold, earthy flavors and fruit forward aromas, this wine is ready to drink now and will be even better with time due to the aging process. |
